Marietta Visual Art
Scholarship
In partnership with Marietta Art in the Park, the goal of this scholarship is to aid aspiring young artists in the pursuit of higher education in the visual arts field. The Marietta Visual Arts Scholarship is a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship, awarded to a graduating high school senior who has been a member of the MHS Visual Arts Department.
Requirements
The criteria for this scholarship are:

Earned at least 3 high school credit hours in visual arts courses.

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in visual art courses.

Involvement in one or more MHS visual arts extracurricular activity.

Plan to pursue a visual arts related career and enrollment in a post-secondary education.

Portfolio submission of FIVE original artworks of high caliber.
